This is quite a unique Hampton Inn situated on a spacious, well-manicured lawn in downtown Lexington. I stayed in one of the Historical Manors, and it was quite an experience. These colonial style rooms are elegant and spacious, using colonial style and decor. Don't worry though, the bathroom is quite modern. A definite must for history buffs passing through Lexington. Its a short walk into the downtown shop, restaurants, and museum area, as well as to Washington & Lee College. Also just a hop and a skip away from a Blue Ridge parkway entrance, where you can get stunning views of the Shenandoah Valley and drive on to Shenandoah National Park.

When you get to the hotel, the entrance has a long driveway up to the brick main building with a large green front yard. Very charming. The front desk is located in the main building which has characteristics of the time which it was originally built. There is also a dining area near the breakfast nook that has tables and pretty benches to sit, as well as a terrace (?) area to sit outside and enjoy your coffee and meals. The hotel has a small pool in a gated area that was perfect for a swim with the kiddos.

The facilities were lovely, in keeping with the town of Lexington. A wonderful old brick manor home was the main building. The location was also very convenient and easy to reach the nature trails and hikes that we went on. The town of Lexington is so wonderfully quaint, with good places to eat. So much fun. Hampton Inn provided excellent value for the money. A much appreciated addition was that upon arrival we received two bottles of water! Truly appreciated!

The property, which includes the building and also the expansive property, were very impressive. Many large magnificent trees. Old log cabin on property. The details of the old part of the hotel building (dining room, main entrance, sitting room, etc.,) were from times past and awesome. Also very clean and well-kept. Great location too. I would stay here again.

The location was perfect! The property and the grounds were great and I will definitely stay there again next time I am in town. Plenty of parking. Quiet area. Very close to the historic downtown area. Beautiful main building. Hopefully I will get the chance to use the pool and hot tub when I go again.
